As I mentioned in my last post, Max got hit in practice and their coach finally got to thinking that it might be slightly broken. So, I spent the majority of my afternoon driving him to x-rays and doctor's meetings in a beautiful lime green VW bug. (my childhood dream car that only my Barbies would ever drive) Around 9:00 last night, we found out he needed a cast, atleast for a week then it could be in a brace that didn't constrain his wrist. Bummer, but atleast he'll only be out for a couple weeks versus months. Can't wait to watch him pitch! :)
Spring Semester started yesterday and so far, so good I guess. I had Communications 190 yesterday and I feel like it's going to end up being a great class. My Professor has an amusing obsession with Lady Gaga and the show Lost. I found myself bursting out laughing at her sense of humor and comments to people; I'm going to enjoy this one. Next up for my Tuesday-Thursday schedule I have Anthropology 102 but it was cancelled yesterday. Once I found this out, I was having the best day ever...I think only one of my classes was cancelled all last semester so I'm already hoping there's more to come.
Today I woke up early to help Max and Spencer pack for their baseball trip to Arizona, lucky boys! I was stuck going to Religion 244, or Lutheran Heritage. I'm still not sure how this class will go with me; it sounds like a lot of work but should be somewhat interesting. Now, I just got back from Spanish 301 and to be honest, I was pretty nervous to sit in on a 300 level class. There are a few people from my 202 class but the other kids are either 30 or have studied abroad in places like Argentina or Chile...hopefully I can compare with my North Dakotan Spanish accent! ha! The professor was really nice and thorough and it will be a good class because there's only 9 other students in there besides me. No tests, just a lot of writing but I would rather do that.
The rest of my day/week now is dedicated to doing my reading and homework now....The baseball boys are gone so hopefully I can be productive and not procrastinate any more with Nintendo 64 or unnecessary Market runs.
I'm lacking on the pictures, I know, but hopefully this weekend will be eventful!
