Midterms

Well, school hasn't really slowed down at all...I guess the good thing about a lot of work is that it can make the days and weeks go by faster! Just this week and next week, then spring break! I'm still not sure what to do for spring break...I could go home for part of it, just to go back a few days later or I could just hang around the Tacoma/Parkland area...I feel like Fargo may need my sandbagging help. My mom called yesterday and said that they predict the river to crest on Saturday now, versus cresting in a couple weeks...that's not good! I want a dry, standing house when I come home next.

This weekend, my friends Lauren and Annie and I are going to Forest Grove, OR, a suburb of Portland for the boys' baseball games against Pacific University. It should be a fun roadtrip and fun games while we're there, with papers in between of course.

and the Infamous Owl pillow gains more friends....

Alejandra!

After a long week of many papers, I'm getting ready to go see Alix Rheault this weekend at University of Idaho!!! I can't wait to see my lovely little lady and catch up since Christmas break! We're only 5 hours away and I don't know why this is the first time we've coordinated a weekend together! It will definitely have to happen more often.

Finally a Productive Weekend!

The weekend at PLU was pretty low-key so I could get a lot of stuff done...Classes seem to be picking up a lot so I've been busy writing papers. I have two down and two to go by Wednesday. Also, I learned today that my spanish paper is due on Wednesday, with another one on Monday and a presentation on Wednesday with yet ANOTHER paper the following Monday...I mean, I love spanish but that might just fry my brain...

Other than busy with that, on Friday Max took me on a date to a restaurant named Maxwell's (clever and cheesy right?) then we went to Dear John. However, if we go back we will definitely need to dress up a little bit more. We showed up a little before 5, being the only people in the restaurant that was super classy. We might've been a little out of place but the food was very good and we still have a $25 gift card. Thanks dad!! We spent half and are waiting to spend the other half :) We were planning on going to Point Defiance Zoo as well but the weather was crappy so we had to take a raincheck. I've heard it's a really great zoo with a cool aquarium so I can't wait!!
On a complete opposite note, the USA vs Canada hockey game for the gold medal was super intense! Yes, props to Sidney Crosby but I'm all about Parise who almost saved the US with like 24 seconds left in the third period! Gotta love the ex-sioux! Talk about a good hockey game...
