Best friends

I don't think I could have better friends at PLU. I love these three boys more than anything. I think I may be a "bro" in their eyes but they're there through everything and are always down to hang out and do whatever.

This weekend, I'm driving down to McMinnville, Oregon with my friend Luis to watch the boys' last conference series against Linfield! They are going to be HUGE games and so exciting. The next three games determine whether they go to regionals or not! I'll keep this blog posted more frequently than I have been and I'll post more throughout the weekend!

Oh! Also, Allison and I were on the wait list for a couple different dorms for the fall and were really hoping to get into Tingelstad for a few reasons, but mainly because ALL our close friends are on the 7th floor. Well, I woke up yesterday with an e-mail from the residential life offices and we got in!!!! I cannot wait for the fall and summer hasn't even come yet!!

Baseball Season!

Flying home twice in the past week or so has taken a lot out of me; I never want to step foot in an airport for a long time. The second time coming home, I took the red eye out of Seattle and had a 3 hour layover in Minneapolis. So, I took advantage of this time to get McDonald's breakfast and to sleep at the terminal. My plane was supposed to fly out at 9:10 and start boarding at 8:40, so I woke up at 8:30 to get all my stuff together and start boarding. But, when I woke up, the screen said the plane was going to some town in Illinois. I ran to the nearest screen and saw that the flight to Fargo had a gate change, to A4 from F2...great, allllll the way across the airport. So, I get on the tram and get to A4 around 8:45 to see that the screen there said the plane was going to Minot, ND. Confused and super frustrated I went up to the counter and threw her my boarding pass and asked where the hell the plane to Fargo was boarding. She pulls it up and said, "Oh, you're at F4 and you're already boarding!" Going through my head was, 'How can they change gates twice in the time I took the tram across the airport?' and 'Are you kidding me?!?! The terminal RIGHT next to the one I was just at?!' But, I ran back to the tram and got to F4 with 15 minutes to spare until the attendant scanned my boarding pass saying I was already on board....good job Delta for double reserving the same seat. Honestly the most frustrating hour of my life. But I'm back in Seattle now without any complications!

Yesterday, Max and I went to the opening home game for the Mariner's! It was part of his birthday present and it was so much fun! However, the Mariner's weren't playing too well at all but it was still really cool to see Safeco and everything around it. Atleast the Twin's can still play baseball and win ;)

Morgo my girl

I love this girl and am praying and thinking about her all the time!
Thanks to Nathan, I got motivation to update my blog again...it's been awhile. And since then, I've taken a road trip to Oregon, survived midterm week and surprised my family in North Dakota! The road trip was super fun with Lauren and Annie...we rolled into Forest Grove somewhat late and were going to check in to our hotel...only we couldn't. The guy said you had to be 21 to check in at just that hotel. With our luck, that's the one we had reservations at for the next two nights. But as midnight rolled around we were driving up and down the streets trying to find a hotel, and we finally did. We were pretty worried for a while. But the next day the boys had a double header and completely dominated those games. They also won the third game on Sunday to sweep Pacific!

Now I've been on Spring Break since last Friday and hung around campus for a few days to watch some baseball and hang out with the few kids left on the ghost campus of PLU. Then, on Wednesday I went to the airport super early and took a flight back to Fargo to surprise my family. It's so nice to be home and see everyone again. The weather here is soooooo much nicer than it's been in Parkland so that's a nice change! I'm heading back to school on Easter Sunday only to go to class for three days and jump back on the plane to Fargo to see John Mayer!!! I cannot wait!

In the meantime, I still have some spring break homework to finish and the Pizza Shop to hit up in good ol' Mayville, ND!
