Winter Wonderland

I'm finally home!! I've actually been home for a few days now, but I haven't done anything besides shop, eat, sleep and watch lots of netflix. I have managed to see a few friends, but I've got plenty of time for that. I don't have much planned for this break but that's what I'm looking forward to. I think eventually Eric, Max and I are going ice fishing for a few days :) We went last year at Eric's parent's lake and even though we didn't catch any fish, we still had a phenomenal time making up games and sitting in the ice house.

Finals are over and I don't have anything to stress about. My COMA120 final was a piece of cake; got a 100% on it, along with my paper and presentation. I finally finished my spanish paper; all 9 pages of it and managed to get an A on it, but I'll probably still end up with a B in that class. That's okay, I'm done worrying about that class FOREVER. :) As for psych, who knows...or cares...haha I showed up to take the test and that's good enough for me. Now just have to wait for J-term...and I actually can't wait because I missed last year's due to my wisdom teeth.

Christmas is definitely sneaking up on me..When I'm out in washington, it doesn't hit me that it's winter, let alone right before Christmas because there isn't snow on the ground and rarely do I need to wear a coat when I go outside. It's nice, but different. However, here come the holidays in a few short days. My family from Washington are already here and my family from Georgia are currently struggling trying to get up here because of the crazy snow and rain everywhere. My cousin's bringing her boyfriend Michael this year and he's never experienced a Midwest winter...it'll be interesting to see him react to our snowmobile and four-wheeling in negative degree weather, let alone surviving a Christmas with all the Aarsvold's. ;) I think I'm heading up to the farm tomorrow to go to The Pizza Shop (best place on earth) and then stay up there until Christmas and spend time with the cousins. It'll be fun...and exhausting. haha

Finals Week

Dead week was last week and it was crazy busy. I have never been so busy during dead week, between papers to write, two presentations and my COMA120 final. It was nice to be completely done with my communications class before finals week though. However, now it's that week and it's Monday and the only class I have left is Spanish, which is killing me right now. We don't have a final test but we do have a final 8 page paper to turn in by Wednesday...it's the only thing keeping me here right now. I finished up my Psychology class this morning with two tests and it feels good to never think about Freud or psychologists again in my life. So, the only thing keeping me from my Winter break is this paper that I should probably go hammer out. I do however, have a job interview tomorrow for a front desk position in the Commons building at PLU. Hopefully I can get it so I can really make some money during J-term and Spring Semester between nannying for Mia and this position!!

Even though this week is brutal, my friends and I had a lot of fun this weekend. It was the last weekend for all of us to be together so we worked hard during the afternoons so we could have fun at night. On Friday some friends and I went to an Ugly Sweater party at the baseball boys' house. On Saturday, Zack and I went to a really good Chinese restaurant off campus and later went to a Jersey party at the football house. I wore a Barcelona jersey and was referred to as "Barce-girl" by a few people that night. Alright, well I need to get back into study mode so I won't have anything to worry about until I fly home on Thursday!!

This song may sound beautiful, but writing an 8 page Spanish paper on it is not...Wednesday please come faster.

Big Time Slackin'

I have really been struggling with this blog this semester...and I shouldn't be because there has been so much going on! I guess that could be my excuse as to why I haven't been updating this. I promise I'll be better. Buuuut...this semester is almost over. Next week is dead week and the following is finals and I'll be flying back to Fargo on the 16th. It's going to come fast but I have so much to do in the time being; two huge presentations, a couple papers and three finals.

I went home last weekend for Thanksgiving and it was the first time since my birthday, basically. It felt so nice to be home; I saw so many people that I've been missing and it's always nice to sleep in your own bed.

New Discoveries from Fargo:
My parents let Amy get a python?
Alyssa is still ruling the household.
Mexican restaurants are taking over Fargo-Moorhead.
It actually felt nice to be back in the Frozen Wasteland for a few days.

As always, here are some pictures to recap what I've been up to (this entire semester...)
