My classes are mainly all Education classes and I am loving them so far. I am doing my practicum 4 days a week at Manitou Park Elementary School in South Tacoma. It is much more diverse than anything I ever grew up around, go figure living in North Dakota my entire life! But I am loving it and I am learning so much more than I think I would teaching in Fargo. On top of those classes I am taking my LAST spanish course EVER at PLU and I don't think I could be any happier. I am just trying to stay motivated to push out these last couple months of way too many papers on way too many literature pieces that I don't really care about.
A couple weeks ago I had my first pre-departure meetings for my J-term trip to Argentina and Antarctica and I cannot wait to get going on that trip! It is going to be an experience of a life time and so much more. I have a couple good friends going on the trip with me and can't wait to share the experience with them!
As for work, I finally got a job!! Two, in fact! haha I am working the front desk/receptionist/assistant position in Olson Gym where the Department of Movement Studies and Wellness Education offices are held. It is a lot of fun because I get to hang out with all the PE professors and PLU coaches during work! I also just found out this week about a nanny job I got offered in Tacoma. It is for a family with 2 kids: an 8 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. I start on Thursday and can't wait to be playing with little ones again!!
PLU homecoming is this weekend so looks like this week and weekend is filled with going to the football game, the dance and maybe even a pumpkin patch with my roommates!

Andrea, Lunchbox and I right when we got him!
Mike and I on the 4th of July
Kelli, Allison and I on a hike to Mt. Rainier
Molly, Phil, Kelli, Evan and I at the Zac Brown Band concert at the Gorge. It is so beautiful there! Wish I would've gotten a picture of the amphitheater.

My roommates and I, minus one! Molly, Allison, Andrea and Kelli
