After 20 some hours of travel and minimal hours of sleep the past few days, we are finally in Ushuaia! It's known as "el fin del mundo" or "the end of the world." It's a gorgeous little fishing town on the very tip of Argentina; probably the southern most civilized place on earth before you reach Antarctica. We have been walking around the town today and just went to a prison museum. Yesterday we spent the day walking around Buenos Aires in the 100+ degree weather! It's definitely summer up there! Ushuaia is about 50 degrees so all the PLU kids feel right at home, however the scenery here is a little bit more beautiful!
I am absolutely LOVING all the spanish going on here! I am falling more in love with the language every conversation I have and listening to the conversations around me is so intriguing.
Here are a few random pictures I've taken in the past day...we've only been settled in one place for about 6 hours so we've just scratched the surface of this amazing experience we have!
Flying in to Ushuaia this morning.
